How to get on the Do Not Call List
48
I hate those phone calls that come at dinner time. Actually, any time of the day. Most of the time it's a computer, and then they have the nerve to put YOU on hold until they can get to you. It's obvious they are just dialing numbers from a list provided to them.
I'm really happy the election is over. I was receiving calls from both candidates 2 or 3 times a day.
If you want to stop these calls, please sign up for the DO NOT CALL List.

How to do it:
Log onto www.donotcall.gov/. Click on the Register Now button.
Fill in the highlighted areas. You can add up to three phone numbers.
Click submit. Verify information. Click register. They will send you a confirmation email.
To complete your registration, you must open the email and click on the link provided. Important: If you do not click on the link in the email within 72 hours, your phone number will not be registered. Troubleshooting: If you don't get a "Registration Complete" message after clicking on the link, or the link does not work, use your "copy" and "paste" functions to insert the entire link in the email into the "Address" line on your Web browser. Copy and paste the entire link - it's long. Do not re-type it.
If the calls continue, go to the same website and file a complaint. Make sure you have the phone number of the person calling.
If you change your phone number don't forget to register your new one.
